I implemented a page to upload the video in FLV format in web design. I am uploading and managing from website control panel. I uploaded all and its working fine in my local PC. After that i uploaded on the server. I found problem its not running even next back button also not visible. I tried to resolve it in many way but all in vain. You guys also facing these problem many time.
Here is the solutions which i got it.
I search the Google and found the solutions. Its the server setting in IIS which is not configured in my website. Its MIME setting on the server. If you run the streaming FLV file then you should make sure MIME type is enabled.
You can do this by going into IIS and select your website, right click select properties. Under the HTTP header tab choose File type under MIME Map section and press New Type. Type .flv as extension and content type to video/x-flv. After that press ok and restart your IIS server.
You can check it by uploading the web design page on the server and access it using browser, If its showing text values then you need to configure the MIME on the server.
On the Apache server when you work firth FLV make sure appropriate MIME type is enabled. You can check it via phpinfo() function.
