Security tips for your home router
Everyone now days using the router in home and office to get fast 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz internet. NET+ ISP providing a router with 2 antenna . Now after installing it they leave the default setting. To secure the setting need to do some changing.
1. Change the password to 20 character with uppercase , lowercase and special character combination.
2. Stop the broadcast of SSID1 and SSID2. If you wish to continue then change the name of SSID to more difficult with different combination of words or without any meaning.
3. In the setting set the number of connection limit to limited. If you have 5 devices then you set it to 5 only.
4. Turn off the router whenever you go out of home or office.
5. Use the WPA3 security protocol to encrypt the WIFI connection..
