Don't trust on Hosting Email Backup because when your mail account quote is full then your email will go bouncing. So its always good to take backup of email in you local PC. Its also benefit because if your internet is not working then you can easily access your all emails in local pc.
Follow the below step to take the backup from Outlook Express 2007.
Open your Outlook Express 2007
Click on Tools > Account setting link
Select the Data Files tab , Default tab Email will open
Select the File Name and click on open folder button.
A popup will open and just copy the files and paste it into other drive like D or E
Now close the popup.

Go into Tools > Account Setting box
Select Data Files Tab
Click on Add button and add the file from other Drive D or E
Set the Default Data file by selecting file name.
Do not use the C drive for backup Outlook Express file or Data file because if your PC Window will damage then your data will loss. So use your D or other drive to save the file and work with that data file. If some time your mail server stop or you wish to move to another server then just simple there is no need to do .
